ORCA have significant experience of working in, and with statutory providers, private and voluntary sectors, across both the health and social care spectrum. Having over 65 years combined NHS experience ORCA is able to offer or support, specialist clinical investigatory services to cover areas such as, but not restricted to, Serious Untoward Incidents / Near misses / Incidents requiring independent investigation and also Clinical Service reviews. With a strong background of both Corporate Governance and Clinical Operational Management at a senior level complemented by nationally approved investigatory skills. Our skills set is optimised to provide a strong investigatory and solution focussed report, outcome preparation, delivery and action planning.  

ORCA also offers senior independent clinical advice for organisations where internal investigations of clinicians / operational workforce is required, and provide membership as senior clinical independent advisors for disciplinary hearings, having the additional advantage of access to senior Human Resource Associates.  

ORCA’s experience of involvement of investigations, from a multi disciplinary approach, is supported by our partnership work with statutory agencies on a local and national basis (including Police and Social Care).
